Next season is part of the preparation cycle for the European Ultimate Championship
(EUC) 2027 and the World Ultimate Championship
(WUC) 2028, so there won’t be a major event for the national teams in 2026.
As we are not yet sure whether we can offer tryouts in all divisions due to player numbers and coaching availability, we cannot yet confirm what the schedule for the tryouts will be. We will inform you after we have assessed all applications.
Nevertheless, we would like to use this year to get to know each other, adjust to one another, and grow stronger together so that we can fulfil our potential at a later stage. Applying for tryouts means committing to the national team for a
full season (2025–26). Ideally, players commit to the whole cycle, which involves participating in both the EUC2027 and WUC2028 events. Dropping out is only possible for important reasons. Information on

To apply to be part of one of our national teams and take part in tryouts, please sign and upload thePlayer Agreement (see application form, section 2) !
For this year’s
Swiss Olympic Card, we will be introducing a new application process. Instead of being given, the card will have to be earned/applied for. At the same time, eligibility will not be based purely on talent or playing strength, but also on financial need, etc. The number of cards provided by Swiss Olympic does not cover the number of national team players, so not all players who make the team will receive a card. Please think about whether you really need an SO Card and why, so that we can ensure that the limited number is given to the players who need and deserve it the most. More information regarding the criteria and process will be provided in a later infomail.
We are still looking forcoaches for the Elite Mixed Team. We have one interested person for a support role within the coaching team, but we are still looking for someone to take on the head coaching role. If you are interested in coaching, or if you know someone who might be interested, please get in touch with us (Cedric von Jüchen, competitive@ultimate.ch) so we can have a mixed team training in 2026.
