Wer sind wir?
Wir sind ein motiviertes und dynamisches Team mit viel Potential. Unser Fokus liegt auf einer entwicklungsorientierten und nachhaltigen Teamstruktur.
Unser übergeordnetes Ziel ist es einen gemeinsamen Entwicklungs- und Lernort zu schaffen sowie den Wissensaustausch unter Athletinnen zu fördern. Um möglichst vielen Spielerinnen die Möglichkeit zu geben, sich innerhalb des Nationalteams individuell weiterzuentwickeln, setzen wir auf eine möglichst niederschwellige Struktur und halten das Kader so lange als möglich offen. Wir sehen diese breite Spielerinnenbasis als eine Chance ein kompetitives Team mit vielfältigen Fähigkeiten und einem starken Teamgeist zu formen. Da eine solche Entwicklung Zeit braucht, ist die Projektphase auf vier Jahre ausgelegt.
Unsere Vision
Die Vision für unser Team entstand während der EBUC 2019 in Portimao. Das damalige Team bestand aus Spielerinnen mit unterschiedlichsten Spielniveaus und Erfahrungslevels. So gestaltete es sich als eine grosse Herausforderung innert kurzer Zeit (6 Monate) eine gemeinsames Spielverständnis zu erarbeiten. Das Team bestach durch einen grossartigen Teamspirit und bemerkenswerte Lernmotivation. Das tolle Erlebnis führte zum gemeinsamen Entscheid von Coaches und Spierinnen das Team weiterzuführen und einen Vierjahresplan für die nächste EBUC zu realisieren. Auf Grund der Pandemie hat sich der ganze Zeitplan verschoben. Deswegen finden nun am 5. Juni 2021 das Tryout für die WM in LA im Mai 2022 als Ziel für das erste Projektjahr statt.

The Swiss Beach Elite Women’s national team is looking for
a non-playing Coach – your chance to sign up!
Who we are
We are a strongly motivated and dynamic team with a lot of potential. As a long-term team, we are focused on sustainable development and create space for as many learning possibilities as possible.
Our main goal is to create a place for improvement. The threshold is deliberately kept low. This means more players get the opportunity to work on their skills within a highly competitive setting. We see this broad player base as a chance to form a high-level team with a wide skillset and a strong bond. This of course needs time. That is why the project is implemented over a period of 4 years.
Our Vision
The vision of this team started back at EBUC 2019 in Portimao. At the time we had a team with a huge range of experience (newbies, experienced competitive players, master players, juniors), skill levels, and understandings of competitive Ultimate. To bring the players from so many different levels in such a short time (6 months) together was difficult. The team showed next to an amazing team spirit an impressive will to learn. This is the reason why the coaches decided together with the team to keep going on and set up a beach project to form a highly competitive team for the next EBUC. Due to the pandemic, we had to make some adjustments. So we are going to have tryouts this June to prepare for WUBC in LA, April 2022 as our first-year goal.
